It's Friday, and I am happy. Over all, it's been a good week in adoption world.
My bloggy friend Susan finally got her referral (I am so thrilled), a fellow SWS waiting buddy is getting close to TC, and I am now sure that it will not be 6 months until travel, since my friend who is with our agency and only 2 weeks ahead of us was told today that her baby is ready on the Korean side and they are now only waiting on our sucky USCIS office for the I-600 approval.
Yahoo!!! Good things all around :)
ReplyDeleteGood news! It does seem like SWS is faster...I noticed on the Holt BB that all the SWS families wait 4-5 months from referral to travel. Hopefully you will only wait 4 months!

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to drop in for a quick hello! I saw your posts on the Holt board and I'm pretty sure we're with the same agency. We just received our referral last week and I'm using your timeline to gage when we might get our travel call :) I hope everything goes smoothly for you! (and I hear you about that USCIS office!!!).

Ha! Thanks! Sometimes I do feel like a total stalker reading others blogs :) I think we're going to try to go to the April meeting if we can get a sitter for our 3 year old (adopted from China). I'm hoping they were wrong about the 6 month wait to travel.
